A. The city manager may, at any time after a final decision to debar or suspend a person from consideration for award of contracts, reinstate the person after determining that the cause for which the person was suspended or debarred no longer exists or has been substantially mitigated. A suspended or debarred person may request reinstatement by submitting a petition to the purchasing officer supported by evidence showing that the cause for suspension or debarment no longer exists or has been substantially mitigated. A decision on reinstatement shall be made in writing within 14 calendar days after a reinstatement petition is submitted. The decision shall specify the factors on which it is. (Ord. 20-012 § 3, 2020)
